Malonne Dress Pattern – Anna Rose Patterns
The Malonne dress is a very feminine model with a slightly vintage charm. Fully buttoned at the front, it consists of a fitted bodice, of a belt and of slightly flared skirt panels. The bodice and skirts are fitted at the waist thanks to a series of folded pleats that respond to each other with elegance.
The bodice can be sewn in Shirt version, with collar and collar stand and a chest pocket (symmetric or asymmetric), or in V-neck version finished with facings. At the back, a Upper yoke is paired with a gathered panel at the top for a comfortable drape. Two sleeve options are offered: one flared sleeve tightened on a bracelet, or a classic sleeve with a tear-resistant slit and buttoned cuff.
The dress is available in Two lengths (short or long). The longer version can, for example, be made in fine denim with skirts extended by about 24 cm for a maxi shirt dress effect.

🌸 Recommended fabrics
Medium-weight woven fabrics: viscose, light gabardine, denim, viscose crepe, tencel, cotton blend, linen blend, silk… Opt for fabrics with a nice drape to highlight the pleats and the flared skirt.
For the presentation models, the following were used: light golden brown gabardine, , light blue fine denim and ochre viscose.

- 12 to 19 buttons from 1 to 1.5 cm in diameter (depending on the length and size, for the long versions)
