The advantage of BOHIN woven labels is that they are already ready to sew: no need to fold the edges or overlock them. They can be sewn completely flat or only on the sides, depending on the desired effect.
How to sew a label by hand ?
Small objects are easily sewn by hand. Sewing a woven label by hand allows for an invisible stitch, which is particularly appreciated when the label is placed inside a garment. Thanks to the side flaps, you can use this extra fabric to gently stitch into the main fabric while passing through the flaps: the label is thus perfectly flat, with a neat and tidy finish.
How to sew a label with a sewing machine ?
This is the simplest, quickest, and most effective solution. Place the label in the desired location, then secure it with a pin, clip, or temporary fabric glue. Next, sew a straight stitch close to the edge. You can sew only the sides or go all the way around for added strength and to prevent snagging.
