Thanks to a unique spinning technique, the softest alpaca fibers (21–23 microns) are transformed into a yarn that is fluffy yet surprisingly structured — far from the sometimes too heavy drape of traditional alpacas. The result: a yarn that offers both softness, structure, and stability.

Svala works wonderfully as a single for a light and delicate knit, double for more volume, or as a companion yarn to add softness and warmth to any project. During our tests: no excessive pilling, excellent consistency, and impeccable hold after blocking.

Spun and dyed in Peru, close to the farms where the alpaca is carefully selected, Svala combines local expertise and premium fibers to become an essential that is both technical and appealing.
