The product comes with 2 guides (green and yellow). They fit both right-handed and left-handed scissors.

Which guide to choose? Green or yellow?

It all depends on your pair of scissors. Some scissors have a slight tilt of about 3° on the outer edge. If that's the case, choose the yellow guide, magnetize it to your blade, and turn the guide until it is parallel to your table.

The green guide is for pairs of scissors that do not have a tilt on the outer edge.

Where should I magnetize the guide on the scissors?

For long straight cuts, we recommend placing the guide towards the back of the scissor blade, near the handles. For curved or meticulous cuts, position the guide near the tip of the scissor blade.

In general, the ideal positioning of the guide is where the two blades of your scissors cross when opening.

For right-handers, you cut your fabric in a clockwise direction. Therefore, you should place your guide on the right blade of your pair of scissors.

For left-handers, you cut your fabric in a counterclockwise direction. Therefore, you should place your guide on the left blade of your pair of scissors.
