About this fabric:
It is made with ECOVERO™ viscose fibers, a certified sustainable viscose fiber. It is made from wood pulp sourced only from certified and controlled wood sources. The production of ECOVERO™ Viscose requires only half the water compared to ordinary viscose production, and CO2 emissions and the use of fossil resources are also halved compared to conventional viscose production.
The ECOVERO™ fiber has been certified with the internationally recognized EcoLabel, which is only awarded to products and services that have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution, and disposal. The natural wood fibers make ECOVERO™ viscose very breathable and comfortable to wear. The fibers do not become static, they retain their soft texture, and they hold colors very well. ECOVERO™ fibers are produced and certified by Lenzing, based in Austria, which is also responsible for the production and certification of the sustainable TENCEL™ fiber.
