Chalk is a historical accessory for sewing and tailoring. The chalk pencil is essential for marking pattern lines: darts, pocket placement on pants or harem pants, placement of ruffles... it allows you to outline cutting or pleating areas. Its easy grip will enable you to make highly precise and more pronounced markings than with traditional tailor's chalk.
