Chalk is a historical accessory for sewing and tailoring. The chalk pencil is essential for marking pattern lines: darts, placement of pockets on pants or harem pants, location of ruffles... it allows you to delineate cutting or folding areas. Its easy grip will enable you to make highly precise and more pronounced markings than with traditional tailor's chalk.
Always test on a piece of fabric to ensure the chalk erases properly.
