Tatting is a type of lace. The work involves making a series of double knots with one or more shuttles. Silk thread or more commonly mercerized cotton thread is used. This particularly long needle measures 130 mm and has a rounded eye. Made in France from nickel-plated steel, the needles go through 27 manufacturing steps, ensuring an incomparable glide and a flawless point.
